His dau’s tombstone has her father’s name as “John”. Is it possible it was “John Henry”? Little is known of him other than he d. probably in the fall of 1842, as Elizabeth Kepley petitions the Court for a year‘s support in Nov 1842. She md. (2) Samuel S. Lambeth c1844. Samuel was b. C1822, NC and d. 27 Jul 1887, age 65y 9m 27d, bur. next to Elizabeth at Liberty Bapt. Church Cem. He was younger by some eleven years or more than Elizabeth. In 1860 census she was 60y and he was 49y. Samuel was a farmer. Elizabeth had two children from each marriage.

Mar or Apr 1845, and was buried on the Saturday before Easter, age 92y, Pilgrim Reformed Church Cem., Davidson Co., NC. No tombstone marker has been located there for him. However, in 1976, the Church put a marker up to him and several other men who fought in of the Revolutionary War.
