    Mr. Harvey C. Easter, age 72, a resident of Fisher Ferry St. passed away Friday Oct. 24, 2014 in Thomasville Medical Center.

    He was born Feb. 13, 1942 in Davidson Co. NC son of the late Harvey M. Easter and Xurada Davenport Easter.

    Harvey operated Easter Truck Repair and Easter & Pierce House Movers. He was of the baptist faith.

    He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Jerry Easter, Dolan Easter and Lloyd Easter.

    Harvey was married June 10, 1966 to Barbara who survives of the home. Also surviving are one daughter, of Thomasville, two sons, both of Thomasville, and three granddaughters.

    Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 PM in Holly Hill Memorial Park cemetery.

    THOMASVILLE | Lloyd Henry Easter, 86, of Thomasville, passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at Lexington Health Care.
    Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Emanuel Reformed Church by the Rev. Rickey Payne and Jane Baity. Interment will be at Holly Hill Memorial Park with military honors. Mr. Easter will remain at J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., until the service.
    Mr. Easter was a World War II Navy Veteran. He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Strowd and her husband, Bruce, of Thomasville; granddaughter, Stephanie Strowd Helsabeck and her husband, Ted; and two great-grandsons, Hampton and Nicholas Helsabeck of Archdale.
    The family will greet friends immediately following the service.
    In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in memory of Mr. Easter to the Chimes Fund, Emanuel Reformed Church, 128 Cedarland Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360.

    Mr. Jerry Lee Gallimore, 74, of 12277 East Old Highway 64, Lexington, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2014 at Hinkle Hospice Home. He was born December 18, 1939 in Guilford County, the son of Arthur Lee Gallimore and Dorothy Easter Gallimore. Jerry was a 1958 graduate of Central Davidson High School and a graduate of Barber School in Winston-Salem. He was an active member of Clarksbury United Methodist Church, serving on various committees. He was a barber for over 40 years, working in High Point, Thomasville, Asheboro, and Lexington. Jerry enjoyed farming, raising cattle and horses and showing quality poultry. He was a well-known poultry breeder who was a member of Guil-Rand Poultry Club, Carolina Feather Fanciers Association, Carolina Cornish Club and National Bantam Association. He was preceded in death by his parents. On November 12, 1966, he was married to Linda Hunt. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 at 1:30 p.m. at Clarksbury United Methodist Church with Pastor Richard Gould officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Garden Memorial Park in High Point.

    He was born in South Norfolk, VA the son of William Woodrow Horton, Sr. and Cassie Hunt Horton.

    Billy was a United States Army veteran having served during Vietnam. He later went on to work and retire as a warehouse manager for Nansemond Cold Storage.

    Predeceased by his parents; brother, William Woodrow Horton, Jr.; and beloved daughter-in-law, Donna Horton.

    Survived by his wife of 50 years, Connie Taylor Horton; daughter Cassie (Craig) Huffman; son Michael (Lisa) Horton; step-mother, Pattie Horton Watkins; grandchildren Chelsea (Zach) Wall, Brandon Huffman, Colby Gray, Brandy Horton and Cameron Huffman; sister, Sandra Knickerbocker; aunt, Shelva (Carol) Mizelle; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

    Friends may join the family for a time of visitation November 27, 2018 at Parr Funeral Home & Crematory. A Celebration of Life service will be held on November 28, 2018 at Bethlehem Christian Church with Rev. Matt Winters officiating. Burial with military honors will be held on November 29, 2018 at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery.


    As in the above, you will notice that their could be some confusion. His father is William Woodrow Horton Sr., he is BILLY Woodrow Horton and his 1/2 Brother is William Woodrow Horton Jr. His brother, not listed because not a Fritz descendant, lived from 1958 to 2014.
