• Obituary: 2022; Ruby Lee Hill Beck, 90 of Thomasville passed away peacefully Monday, November 14, 2022 at her home. Ruby was born September 5, 1932 in Davidson County to the late Corbett Hill and Vellie Lambeth Hill. Ruby worked many years at PPG Industries. She was a member of Toms Creek Primitive Baptist Church. Ruby loved the Lord with all her heart and enjoyed reading her bible daily. She enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, keeping up with current events, but most of all spending time with her beloved family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her son, James Edward "Eddie" Wilson; one sister, Freda Mae Hill Hepler; five brothers, Fred Hill, J.C. Hill, Roy Hill, Troy Hill, and Willie Hill; and one grandson, Trevor Wilson. Surviving is her loving son and his wife; one daughter; six grandchildren; and many beloved great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville with Rev. Bynum Orr officiating. Interment will follow at Toms Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Denton. The family will receive friends at J.C. Green and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville on Thursday evening from 6:00-8:00 PM.
