He is survived by four children, Janet (Roger) Wilson of Crestwood, Missouri, Yvette (Richard) Fritts of Granite City, Belinda Morgan (Ron Davidson) of Granite City and Dennis Allen (Cris Nagla) of Des Moines, Iowa; ten grandchildren, Tomi, Rob, Ryan, Mike, Cassandra, Ian, Julie, Lisa, Thomas and Taylor; eleven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jaxson, Gracie, Dylan, Lexi, Katelynn, Lucas, Wyatt, Connor, Devin and Logan; seven brothers and sisters, Clinton (Geneva) Allen of Maynard, Arkansas, Juanita Henson of Ravendon, Arkansas, Albert (Judy) Allen of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Onetta Tunstall of Delaplain, Arkansas, Luther (Joan) Allen of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Estellene Sebourn of Kensett, Arkansas and Evelyn Ragsdale of Hoxie, Arkansas; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to his beloved parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Scott Allen; a grandson, Wally Milton; a great-grandson, Aaron Hergert and a brother, Waymon Allen. In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Charles West officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road in Granite City. Memorials may be made to the DeGreeff Hospice House, 10024 Kennerly Road, St. Louis, MO 63128 and may be accepted at the funeral home.
