He retired from Community Retread in St. Louis after over 35 years of dedicated service in tire manufacturing. He loved horse races and his days of fishing and will be remembered for his love and special times shared with his family and friends. He is survived by four children, Janet (Roger) Wilson of Crestwood, Missouri, Yvette (Richard) Fritts of Granite City, Belinda Morgan (Ron Davidson) of Granite City and Dennis Allen (Cris Nagla) of Des Moines, Iowa; ten grandchildren, Tomi, Rob, Ryan, Mike, Cassandra, Ian, Julie, Lisa, Thomas and Taylor; eleven great-grandchildren, Matthew, Jaxson, Gracie, Dylan, Lexi, Katelynn, Lucas, Wyatt, Connor, Devin and Logan; seven brothers and sisters, Clinton (Geneva) Allen of Maynard, Arkansas, Juanita Henson of Ravendon, Arkansas, Albert (Judy) Allen of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, Onetta Tunstall of Delaplain, Arkansas, Luther (Joan) Allen of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. Estellene Sebourn of Kensett, Arkansas and Evelyn Ragsdale of Hoxie, Arkansas; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to his beloved parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Scott Allen; a grandson, Wally Milton; a great-grandson, Aaron Hergert and a brother, Waymon Allen. In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Thursday, December 26, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Reverend Charles West officiating. Burial will be at St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road in Granite City. Memorials may be made to the DeGreeff Hospice House, 10024 Kennerly Road, St. Louis, MO 63128 and may be accepted at the funeral home.     • Obituary: 7 Jul 2020, Granite City, Madison, Illinois, USA; Alice Euvaughn Williams, age 81, of St. Louis, MO, formerly of Granite City, IL, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2020 at her home. Alice was born on January 31, 1939 in Pocahontas, AR, a daughter of the late Robert Lee Garrett and Eula Mabel (Hollaway) Garrett. On June 11, 1971, Alice married Herbert Williams in Granite City, IL. Alice retired from Piece Goods Fabric Store as a manager after many years of dedicated service. Alice was an excellent seamstress who enjoyed sewing and making costumes for the opera house in Raleigh, NC. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. Alice loved life, she loved to laugh, but most of all she loved her family. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by a son, Scott Allen; daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Allen; two brothers and three sisters, Ron Garrett, Bill McCluskey, Dorothy Hollaway, Sally Garrett and Patsy Garrett. She is survived by her devoted husband of forty-nine years, Herbert Williams of St. Louis, MO; loving children, Janet (Roger) Wilson of Crestwood, MO, Belinda Morgan of Granite City, IL, Yvette (Richard) Fritts of Granite City, IL and Dennis Allen of Des Moines, IA; siblings, Pastor Douglas (Louise) Garrett of Granite City, IL, Thomas Garrett of O’Kean, AR and Donna Robertson of O’Kean, AR; proud grandmother to twenty grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Alice deserves a beautiful tribute. However, in this unknown time a private family visitation and funeral will be held on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at Irwin Chapel, Granite City, IL, with her brother Pastor Douglas Garrett officiating. Interment will be in St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road in Granite City, IL. Memorial donations may be given to Fisher House or DeGreef Hospice House in Alice’s memory.     As of 21 Dec 2014 I found my second source of Roberts names possibly containing the Middle name Clem. One was on a record in Arkansas, the second was on a bible record of Dollie Robinson, Page 2 contains his middle initials as C. L. L stands for Lee.
