  	THOMASVILLE | Lloyd Henry Easter, 86, of Thomasville, passed away on Friday, Sept. 18, 2009, at Lexington Health Care. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Emanuel Reformed Church by the Rev. Rickey Payne and Jane Baity. Interment will be at Holly Hill Memorial Park with military honors. Mr. Easter will remain at J. C. Green & Sons Funeral Home, 122 W. Main St., until the service. Mr. Easter was a World War II Navy Veteran. He is survived by one daughter, Barbara Strowd and her husband, Bruce, of Thomasville; granddaughter, Stephanie Strowd Helsabeck and her husband, Ted; and two great-grandsons, Hampton and Nicholas Helsabeck of Archdale. The family will greet friends immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in memory of Mr. Easter to the Chimes Fund, Emanuel Reformed Church, 128 Cedarland Drive, Thomasville, NC 27360.
