A world war ii veteran, he was born December 3, 1911, at Imboden, Ark. Services were held at the German Funeral Home Chapel on March 1. Burial was at Mt Zion, German Funeral Home in charge. Mr. Blackwell leaves a brother, Arthur Blackwell of St Louis, and a sister, Pearl Pruett of Rector, Ark.
