  	A. E. Beeker Of Welcome LEXINGTON — Albert Erastus (“Rass”) Beeker, 82, of the Welcome community, died suddenly at 7:15 a.m. today at his home. He had been in declining health for several years. Born in Rowan County on Apr. 10, 1875, he was a son of Don and Lundy Corneliuson Beeker. Mr. Beeker was a member of the Welcome Baptist Church. His wife, Jennie Leonard died Mar. 18, 1949. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Harvey Miller, Salisbury; Miss Beulah Beeker, of the home; three sons, Preston Beeker, of Winston-Salem; Harvey Beeker, Lexington, Route 8; and George Beeker, Raleigh; a brother, Oscar Beeker, Albemarle; two sisters, Mrs. Garland Campbell, Sanford; Mrs. Prince Parish, Aberdeen, N.C.; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The body will remain at Davidson Funeral Home here pending completion of funeral arrangements.
