| Paul Siddall Obituary Paul Edward Siddall, 70, Lonedell, departed this life Saturday, Jan. 2, 2021, in Washington. Paul was born April 16, 1950, in Oliver Springs, Tenn., the son of Sylvanus Levi Siddall and wife Faith Frances, nee Fortney. As a young man, he was united in marriage and blessed to have one daughter. On Oct. 14, 1978, he was united in marriage to Deborah Sue Smith, and two children came to bless this union. Paul was a Christian of the Lutheran faith, believing in the Lord as his Savior. He was proud to have served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War, entering July 10, 1968, receiving his discharge April 28, 1972, having attained the rank of sergeant. He went on to enlist in the U.S. Army, entering Jan. 3, 1975, receiving his discharge Dec. 14, 1977, as a specialist 5. During his working career, he was employed as a building maintenance man for Eaton Bussman Fuse Company in St. Louis, retiring after 30 years of service to the company. He served as an assistant scout master for Boy Scout Troop 449 in St. Clair, where he taught wilderness survival and family living, among other skills. Paul also loved camping, playing the guitar and reading. He enjoyed watching old John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies. What meant most to him was time spent with his family. The love they shared and many precious memories they created will be cherished by them all forever. Paul is survived by his wife, Deborah Siddall, Lonedell; his daughters, KellyAnn Banning and husband Kenny, Kingwood, Texas, and Jennifer Siddall-Collins and husband Garrett, Villa Ridge; his son, Kristofer Siddall and girlfriend Madison Price, St. Clair; seven grandchildren, Jarrod, Kaleb, Kaden, Jace and Kenneth Banning, all of Kingwood, Texas, Camille Henry, Villa Ridge, and Ellianna Siddall, St. Clair; sisters-in-law; nieces; nephews; great-nieces and -nephews; cousins; and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sylvanus and Faith Siddall; his infant brother, David Siddall; and his infant sister, Frances Siddall. Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, at Russell Colonial Funeral Home, St. Clair, with Pastor John Rhoads officiating. Private interment, with full military honors, will be held Monday, Jan. 11, in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis.
