He was born in Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, on April 18, 1968, son of Ralph and Donna (Garrett) Robertson. On July 26, 2013, Leroy was united in marriage to the love of his life, Bridget (Prather) Rollins, who survives at their home. Leroy had a strong work ethic and was previously employed as an electrician at Midwest Builders and Trane. In addition to being a talented electrician, he was also a jack of all trades and carpenter extraordinaire, taking great pride in building and repairing all types of household projects, especially his man cave. He loved life and enjoyed listening to music, singing, taking motorcycle rides, playing cornhole, golfing, and coaching his kid’s sporting activities. Leroy was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan and was his children’s biggest supporter in all their extracurricular activities. Leroy possessed a larger-than-life personality and a heart of gold. He had a unique gift of making his family and friends feel like they were the most important person in his life. He always welcomed the company of his friends and enjoyed hosting get togethers at his lake house and at his man cave. His witty sense of humor and infectious laughter lit up any room he entered. He was always the life of the party! Leroy never knew a stranger and was always willing to help others in need. Above all things, Leroy’s life revolved around his family, especially his grandchildren, who he treasured. Lowell Leroy Robertson was a loving husband, devoted father, proud grandpa, and a loyal friend to many. The countless memories and stories of Leroy will be told for decades to come, and his wit will live on for generations to come. In addition to his loving wife, Bridget, he is also survived by two sons, Douglas (Laura) Robertson and Justin (Shelby) Robertson; three daughters, Brinna Rollins, Laney Rollins, and Harper Rollins; grandchildren, Axel Robertson, Chase Robertson, and Parker Ray, with one grandchild on the way, Cash; his mother, Donna Robertson; twin sister, Loretta Loveless; brother, Jerrald Roberston; father-in-law, Richard “Buck” Prather; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, family, and countless friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Ralph Robertson; mother-in-law, Kathern Prather; and stepfather, Kenneth Roberts. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with services immediately following at 1 p.m., on Friday, February 3, at Fancher-Rekus Funeral Home in Iberia. Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Iberia. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Leroy Robertson Memorial Fund.
