Surviving: son and daughter-in-law, Robert Hand and Ruth Garrett of Wartburg; grandchildren, Michael Garrett of Wartburg, Mrs. Debra Carson of Ft. Ritchie, Md.; great-granddaughter, Miss Erica Carson of Ft. Ritchie, Md.; brothers, Arnold Huckaby of Sunbright, Senior Huckaby of Harriman; sisters, Mrs. Arzilla Hall, Mrs. Josephine Scarbrough, Mrs. Willa Mae (Bill) Griffith, all of Wartburg. Funeral service will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Elizabeth Baptist Church with Rev. Homer Hooks officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m. at Schubert Funeral Home, Wartburg.
